National Commission for Women Conducts Seminar on Legal Matters

Mumbai, Feb 28:
A seminar underlining legal awareness for women was organized by the National Commission for Women and Celine D’Silva Foundation chairperson Janet D’Souza at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, recently. 
 
Uttarkhand governor Margaret Alva inaugurated the programme.
 


Former chief minister Narayan Rane was the chief guest on the occasion.
 
Mumbai Pradesh Congress (I) Committee president Kripa Shankar Singh, ministers Suresh H Shetty and Varsha Gaikwad, corporators Santhosh D Shetty and Clive Dias, and local Congress leaders were the guests of honour.
 
Social activist and High Court lawyer Teesta Setalvad, lawyer Mainali Deshmukh, ‘Maharastra Times’ journalist Pratima Joshi, and ‘Lead India’ finalist Abhag Singh were the resource persons.
