Mumbai, May 18: Lipid association of India hosted the Laicon national conference at Westin Hotel auditorium, Povai Lake here recently. Lipid association of India organizing Secretary Mulki Atikaribettu Deppuni and Dr Sadananda R Shetty Sion inaugurated the conference.

Lipid association of India founder and president Professor Dr Raman Puri, managing committee member Dr Narasinghan Chennai, Dr S S Aiyagar, international advisor Dr Bharters and others were present.

Discussions on the basis of recent research and practices on lipidology and other concerned subjects were held with national and international professors in the conference.

There was interaction with progressive medical experts in the two day long workshop about the importance of Lipid and ways to promote healthy lifestyle. Dr Sadananda R Shetty Sion, Mumbai hailing from Mulki described such conferences and workshops as a part of social initiative.
