Bantwal, May 13: “India has become strong now because of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi’s leadership. BJP can come to power once again if we work according to directions, bound by party principles," said Bantwal BJP MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipady. He was speaking after inaugurating the special meeting of backward class morcha at Shivalli Bhavan, B C Road here.
“Most of the people belonging to the OBC community are BJP voters. Therefore the morcha has made a huge contribution to the BJP party. The party could come to power in UP also as OBC voters stood by BJP. The party can become strong when morchas work successfully. A Kutumba Milan programme held for the families who support the activists was successful,” he said.
Keonics president Harikrishna Bantwal, Bantwal BJP president Devappa Poojary, district chief secretary Ramadas Bantwal, OBC morcha state chief secretary Vivekananda Dabbi, state secretary Vittal Poojary, executive member Kumar Ramachandrappa, in-charge Rajesh Pilar, Morcha district chief secretaries Monappa Devasya, Mahesh Udayakumar and block chief secretary Ravish Shetty were present.
OBC morcha district president R C Narayan gave an introductory address. Bantwal OBC morcha president Anand Shambhoor welcomed. Block chief secretary Dombaya Arala compered the programme.
