Mangalore, Feb 16: A J Institute of management (AJIM), a unit of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust (LMET), organized a day-long training programme on ‘Personality Assessment through Psychometrics’ to train second year MBA students for their final placements, at its premises recently.
Dr Anjali Ganesh, Professor, St Joseph’s Engineering College Mangalore conducted the programme. The preceding interaction with Dr K Narayan, director Besant Institute also stressed the need for positive thinking for the success of an individual.
The concluding session was conducted by K Shyamchandra Bhat, assistant vice-president, Axis bank, Mangalore who guided the students on corporate expectations and the techniques of facing an interview.
Dr Kripa Amar Alva, Trustee B Amar Alva Trust inaugurated the programme. Speaking on the occasion, she exhorted the students to enter the corporate world with confidence and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
The students of AJIM and Besant Institute of postgraduate students attended the programme.
Dr T Jayaprakash Rao, director AJIM and faculty members were present for the training programme. Vijay Rego, assistant Professor, chief co-ordinator of the programme welcomed the guests. Raina Pinto, final year student compeered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
