Bantwal, Apr 30: An Iftar gathering was held at Panemangalore Sagar auditorium in the leadership of former minister B Ramanath Rai on April 30. Ramanath Rai said that there is a need for harmony in the future, and Iftar gatherings will be important in it.
“Harmony will drive away the mistrust between people. India is a county with several religions, castes and languages. Each religion has a holy book here. It should not be maligned,” he said.
He thanked everybody who took part in the Iftar gathering. Loretto Church parish priest Francis Crasta said that society cannot be built with enmity. “Religion becomes stronger when we value humanity more. Therefore, give importance to the value based life,” he said.
Fakruddin Darimi wished the programme well. “Iftar gathering is a special programme that values brotherhood. Harmony should be obtained through celebrations,” said Tammanna Shetty Shanbhuga.
