Kundapura, Apr 25: Defending his statement on urging Hindus to buy gold only from Hindu-owned shops on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Pramod Mutalik, founder of Sri Rama Sene, said, “The fight will continue in this fashion. Now we know what is dangerous for the society, people and the country. Society is awakened now due to Hindu organisations. Society has got an idea and angle to live,” he said.
"Akshaya Tritiya is a festival of the Hindu community. Even Hindus feel that they should buy gold from Hindu-owned shops only. Only then the culture and tradition will remain. This is very important for the safety of India,” Mutalik said.
“We have seen the awareness of Hindus on Halal cut. In future, Hindus will completely avoid buying Halal cut meat. The fight of gold type will continue in this matter also,” he pointed out.
“Jewellery companies of Kerala origin are giving financial aid for violence. They are indirectly supporting anti-India organisations. More than 800 Hindus have been killed in Kerala. They have funded these kinds of heinous murders. In Kerala the murders that have taken place are done on ideology and not selfishness. They have been killed for Hindutva. They have killed patriot Hindu leaders. Gold merchants have funded these killings,” he thundered.
“Muslim gold merchants show only Muslim women in their advertisements. They show women without the vermilion on their forehead. They are insulting our culture. They want our money but not our culture,” he said.
Mutalik expressed his rage for the statement of Muslim leaders who said that they will sponsor flight ticket for him to protest in Kerala. He said, “People from Kerala are creating ruckus in Mangaluru. They are getting trained in Kerala and conducting Love Jihad operations in Mangaluru. I will fight at any corner of the country. Who are you people to stop me? What rights have you got? I am the citizen of this country,” he said.
“I will fight constitutionally. Who are you people to ask me to go to Kerala or Pakistan? If you want you go. I will go to Kerala also and fight there. Sri Rama Sene organisation is there in Kerala also. I do not want your preaching,” Mutalik said.
When questioned that his fight for religion is basically calculated move for political recognition, Mutalik said, “I have been fighting in Hindu organizations since 67 years. I know that BJP is taking all the benefits of my protests. But they are not responding properly. They are obstructing my programmes. They banned me in Kolar, Udupi and Kalaburagi,” he said.
“During Congress regime also I was banned. Now during BJP rule also I am prohibited. How it is possible for BJP to ban me? They are not banning me but Hindutva. You people are banning Hindu ideology. You won because of Hindu votes. If you stop Hindus, lessons will be taught to you people in coming days. Hindu organisations are working for the good of country,” Mutalik said.
