Davanagere, Apr 21: “Congress is decimated all over India. It is hardly breathing here in Karnataka. Our motto is to stop even that faint breathing,” said former chief minister (CM) B S Yediyurappa.
Yediyurappa was speaking after inaugurating BJP workers’ conference in the city on Wednesday.
Yediyurappa further said, “As the Congress is breathing only in Karnataka, Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar are speaking. After the next assembly elections, Congress will stop breathing completely. We will ensure the same. In Uttar Pradesh elections, 377 candidates of Congress lost their deposits. Only two have won. The same situation will be that of Congress in Karnataka.”
