Kundapur, Feb 6: The Shankaranarayana police have arrested an inter-district dacoit who has been alleged to have committed robbery at Corporation bank of Hosangady here.
The arrested person has been identified as Harish Shetty (27) hailing from Yedamoge. He was absconding without attending court as he was charged in 13 cases. Rs 6.21 lac, 1 brace light and a mobile phone has been seized by the police.
Kundapur assistant police inspector has announced prize to Shankarnarayan police team who acted on a tip off and succeeded in arresting the dacoit.
