Mangalore, Jan 31: The newly renovated office of Zilla Bala Bhavana Vedike located at the district Bala Bhavan building was inaugurated on Monday January 30. On this occasion Kalashree award winners were also felicitated. The award winning children were Suraj, Shama Parvin Taj, Sharanya V K, Thanushree Rao, Master Vaibhav Shenoy, Master Chinmay, Kumari Navya S, Ananya Rao and Sindhura Saraswathi.
 
Deputy speaker N Yogish Bhat presided over the programme. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the science park will be built near a vacant site at Kadri Park. Donors have already come ahead to extend their help for the cause, he added. He congratulated all the Kalashree award winners.

However the people, who gathered to feel proud about those achievers of rural areas mainly from Puttur and Sullia region, were seen upset due to hastiness made by MP Nalin Kumar while felicitating those achievers.
 
Earlier the toy train was flagged off by Deputy Speaker Yogish Rao, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and dignitaries who were present on the occasion.
