Panaji, Mar 30: Chief minister Pramod Sawant said he would present the state budget at 3pm on Wednesday, Mar 30.
Sawant said that the focus of the budget would be Swayampurna Goa 2.0. He further said that he would take a vote on account after presenting the budget and will also take a vote on a motion of confidence.
“Only a vote on account will be taken in the budget session and the full budget will be passed in the next assembly session after discussion and debate,” a senior government official said.
Over the past couple of years, the state government has followed the practice of taking a vote on account after presenting the budget, and later holding discussions on it during the monsoon session.
