Panaji: Drugs worth Rs 66 lac seized from Nigerian national

Panaji, Mar 24: Police of anti narcotic cell apprehended a man, citizen of Nigeria and confiscated narcotic substances of two different kinds valued at Rs 66.9 lac in the international market.

Acting on a tip off PSI Rohan Madgaonkar arrested Onye Lucky (47) while he was in possession of the said drugs.

The raid was conducted on the eatery Mollem Bhat, Saligao, where the Nigerian national was seated, on the evening of Tuesday.

The sleuths of anti narcotics cell confiscated 20.4 grams of MDMA and 64.9 grams of LSD liquid. The accused was taken into custody and a case was booked on him.
