    Dear Sir,
Sub: In efficient work by MESCOM Accounts Department at Lalbaugh Mangalore does not mean the consumer pays a fine. MESCOM is not a Law Enforcement or Police Dept. The lapse is from MESCOM staff. MESCOM should have never presented the cheque if they have done the job correct. They have to be Accountable. So that a Senior Citizen would have not been penalized with un wanted charges to bear is illegal & unwarranted.
I would kindly bring it to your attention why the fine of Rs. 100 levied by MESCOM, Lalbaugh unit headed bt Mrs. Hilda D’Souza must be withdrawn from my Account. In addition an irrelevant bank charge of Rs, 110/- too to be debited to your Accounts staff for their lapse.
1)I had paid the May-2011 usage amount of Rs. 1643/-by June 15th-2011 by cheque no- 0778667 & obtained a receipt from your Mannagudda, Mangalore Service Counter.
2)The same has been processed by your Lalbaugh, Mangalore-575003 Accounts Dept. Headed by the most inefficient person Mrs. Hilda D’souza & her team under her.
3)As per MESCOM Rules there are 5 points to be noted before even a cheque is accepted as payment.
