Mangalore: Congress Terms ‘Bandh’ Forceful

Mangalore, Jan 23: The bandh observed on Saturday January 22 was forcefully implemented by BJP affecting the common people.

In most of the places in city police and other officers created tense situation among the shop owners and thereby compellingly made them to close the doors, complained district congress vice-president Ivan D’Souza at a press conference held, here.
 
Defending the move of Governor Bharadwaj, Ivan stressed the police commissioner to take action against those police who forced bandh in some places.

Congress leaders Shashidar Hegde, M G Hegde, Ashok Kumar D K, Sadashiva Ullal, Vinayraj, Praveen Alva, Nagendra, Nazeer Bajal and Sharif Deralakatte among others were present at the press meet.
