Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 12: Mouthpiece of Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), has stated that an MTech student from Kerala who went to Afghanistan from Kerala to join the terrorist organization, Islamic State, after marrying a Pakistani lady, has died in a suicide attack.
The deceased youth has been identified as Najeeb Al Hindi (23). He was an MTech student from Kerala. The news published by the Voice of Khurasan has not provided any additional details. It has not even provided details as to when he died and circumstances which led to his death etc.
As per the report, Najeeb had travelled from India through multiple transportation mediums to reach Khorasan in Afghanistan where IS-Khorasan province has its headquarters. ISKP has hailed Najeeb as an ISKP fighter, who in spite of encountering various problems, continued with his jihad.
ISKP also said that Najeeb wholly concentrated on fighting for the IS. It claimed that he was not interested in getting married, but under pressure from friends, he married a Jihadi girl belonging to a Pakistani family. Thereafter, ISKP utilized his services for suicide attacks, as per information.
