Shivamogga, Feb 25: On Thursday February 24, two more were arrested relating to the muder of Harsha, a Bajrang Dal worker. The two who were arrested on Thursday are Abdul Roshan (24) and Jaffer Sadiq alias Badruddin Bhandri (55). The number of arrests has reached ten now.
The city, which was boiling right after the said murder, is limping back to normalcy. Still, as a measure of abundant precaution, the curfew which had earlier been announced till February 25 morning, has been extended by a day.
Abdul Roshan is from Hosamane extension in Bhadravathi town while Sadiq is from Wadi A Huda in Shivamogga. Two cars and a two-wheeler have been seized from their possession.
The police have been keeping a vigil all over the city. The family of slain Harsha has so far received financial assistance mostly through online transfers to the extent of Rs 80 lac. Including various other help announced, the fund collection has crossed one crore rupees as of now.
