Udupi, Feb 23: "What happened to Muslims in Shivamogga was just a trailer. The movie is still pending," threatened Sunil K R, state convener of Bajarang Dal in Manipal here on Wednesday, February 23.Speaking at a protest march held today demanding stringent action against the assailants of Hindu activist Harsha, Sunil said, "The Hindu activists do not need any training. We can finish off anyone with just a tablespoon."
"Hindus have faced many oppressions and agitations in this country. We never started moving around with saffron flags or shawls but the VHP, Bajarang Dal activists are being targeted. In the last few years, around 29 Hindu activists have been murdered but still we do not fear," he added.
Addressing the Muslim commmunity, he said, "You have planned to create an Islamic state. Today in every street one person like Harsha has emerged. The Muslim jihadis are trained in Kerala to execute murders. They kill dogs and get trained. But remember that our Hindu soldier killed a jihadi with just a knife inside the jail. We do not want Talwar. Hindus will give a befitting reply. Hindu activists are ready for anything. Just think once what will be your situation if 80 percent of the Hindu community stands against you. Respect the Constitution and live in this land," he said.
Sunil K R also urged the government to kill the culprits in Harsha's murder case in a police encounte.
Dinesh Mendon, district secretary, Vishwa Hindu Parishad addressing the gathering, said, "We have lost many of our Hindu activists to the jihadi Muslims. Jihadi's belonging to a community constituting 15-20 percent of the country's populace are attacking 80 pecent of Hindus. Hijab is an issue devised to attack our community."
"Harsha is still living in our hearts. Harsha was killed in a Taliban manner. We should stop protesting and start retaliating in their own ways. This is the last warning for the minorities of this nation - respect the Constitution and live accordingly. If that doesn't work, Hindus will give a befitting reply in the coming days. If our karyakartas pick up the swords, none of you will live peacefully in Udupi district" Mendon threatened.
A protest march was held from Tiger Circle to the DC office here in Manipal. The protestors demanded stringent action against the culprits in Harsha's murder.
The police department had taken necessary precautionary measures to monitor the situation. Rapid Action Force was also deployed along with the state police in Manipal.
