In addition to five new Chevrolet Tavera vehicles, four vehicles the district already had with it, have been prepared for this task. These nine vehicles have been entrusted to Udupi, Manipal-Hiriyadka, Malpe, Kaup-Padubidri, Kundapur, Brahmavar-Kota, Gangolli, Byndoor-Kollur, and Karkala regions. These vehicles have been equipped to face any eventualities at short notice.
