Bangalore, Dec 27 (IANS): Leading private carrier Kingfisher Monday announced it was launching new flights on the domestic sector, connecting Jabalpur and Belgaum to Mumbai.
The other flights will operate on the Jabalpur-Indore and Indore-Mumbai routes.
"We are the first airline to offer air connectivity from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and Belgaum in north Karnataka to Mumbai in our winter schedule," Kingfisher vice-president Manoj Chacko said in a statement here.
Though bookings opened Monday, the airline will commence the service on the Mumbai-Belgaum route Jan 10 and on the Mumbai-Jabalpur-Indore route Jan 24.
"The new services are aimed at providing timely connections between the country's financial capital and important cities and facilitate greater economic activity," Chacko said.
