Panaji: Supplementary exams for secondary, PU from Feb 16

Panaji, Feb 10: Students who missed first terminal exams due to Covid will be able to write the same from February 16 as per the announcement made by the Goa board for secondary and higher secondary education. These will be for classes 10 and 12.

Exams will be held at two centres of Shree Damodar higher secondary school Margao and Sarojini Madhusudhan Kushe Higher secondary school Assagao for 12th grade students.

Janata High school Mapusa and Fatima Convent high school Margao will be used for supplementary examination of class 10.

The timings for 12th standard exams will be 9.30 am each day while for 10th it will be 9 am, the announcement said. Due to Covid the Goa board could not hold examinations during the academic year 2021-22.

The board also said that the examinations will not be postponed further under any circumstances even if some public holiday is declared in Goa as per the statement given by the director of the board.

Students will be assessed on multiple choice questions and second term will be assessment based. Marks of first and second term will be merged to arrive at overall scores.
