Sullia: Misunderstanding With Wife – Man Commits Suicide

Daijiworld Media Network – Sullia (SP)

Sullia, Dec 27: A person from Kodiyal village near Bellare in the taluk, who reportedly was frustrated with life after being unable to solve the misunderstandings he had with wife, committed suicide by consuming poison on Sunday December 26. Narayan alias Nagesh (36), son of the late Belliappa Gowda from Pulitadka in Kodiyal village ended his life in this way.

Nagesh was running a jeep on hire. He also had a large scale piggery unit next to his house. His wife, Nalini, had gone to her parents’ home about 20 days ago, because of persisting differences with husband. Narayan lived alone at home. On Saturday night, Nagesh presumably consumed food laced with poison, and his death came to light on Sunday morning.

Nagesh and Nalini have two children. Nalini, in a complaint filed with the policemen, had charged Nagesh of violent behaviour, duly explaining that she sought the security of her parents to escape from husband’s torture.
