Bangalore, Dec 23: Former Daijiworld correspondent Charitra Gangadhar has secured the first rank in the MA English exams conducted by Bangalore University recently.
Charitra completed her MA in English from Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences (AIMS), Peenya here. She holds the record of being the only student for the 2008-10 batch AIMS which is affiliated to Bangalore University. She aggregated a total of 1394/2000 with 69.7% and topped Varsity results.
Charitra who hails from Chikmagalur district completed her high school education from Mountain View High School at Chikmagalur before doing her graduation from SDM College at Ujire in Dakshina Kannada district.
During her college days, she not was not only Daijiworld’s regular columnist but was also a special correspondent during the Mahamastakabhisheka. Charitra was also the student coordinator of Chiguru, a bi-annual publication of journalism department of SDM College. She also possesses the rich experience of being student faculty in English during her college days.
At present she is a lecturer of English at Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences from where she completed her post-graduate studies.
