Mangalore, Dec 23: The LIC Agents’ Organization of India (LICOI) (Udupi division) staged a protest in front of the head post office at Pandeshwar here on Wednesday December 22.

A protest rally from CA Branch to the Head Post Office was held as part of the protest.

CITU state general secretary S Prasanna Kumar inaugurated the protest and said that the LIC of India is making it very difficult for the LIC agents to function with stringent terms and conditions. These stipulations also affect senior LIC agents. This has resulted in nearly 60,000 agents all over the country losing their jobs.

LICAOI state general secretary Ramesh Kumar, L Manjunath of LICAOI, Sunil Kumar Bajal of CITU, Sindhagi and Vasant Achariy of CITU among others were present.

Wah, for their benefits they go on strike. Let me know if any one agent is sincere here?? They come to you & eat your brain until they get a Policy payment from you. They collect your 1st cheque for the first installment & never show their face in life time. Later you have to go searching for LIC office when you receive your second installment notice. Because, the maximum percentage of commission they get from your first installment & later the commission amount automatically goes to their account when you pay your installments. So, they are not bothered to collect from you. I ask why LIC is not taking any action against them.???
