Mangalore: Body of Missing Patient Recovered

Mangalore, Dec 23: Frederick Lobo (61), who had been admitted into Fr Muller Hospital in the city on December 17, had gone missing  since Monday December 20 evening. Anthony Cutinho from Kulshekhar in the city, a relative of Lobo, had filed a complaint in Pandeshwar police station, saying that Frederick had walked out of his ward in the said hospital at around 6 pm on Monday December 20 without informing anyone, and that he had remained untraceable since then, nor had he come back to his home or the hospital.

Body of Lobo was found lying near Bokkapatna Bengre here on Wednesday December 22. After the policemen received report that the body of a man was found lying at the above spot, the Panambur policemen visited the place and upon verification, identified it to be belonging to Frederick Lobo.

Details of why he went out of the hospital, and how he reached there, are not yet known.
