Udupi: Coach Jagdish Shettar Qualifies for National Swimming Team

Udupi, Dec 23: Jagdish Shettar, swimming coach, has qualified to represent India in the next World Masters Swimming by finishing first in the 100 meters butterfly at the 7th National Masters Aquatic Championships held at Hyderabad, recently.

He is the coach at of Manipal University. Jagdish finished the race in 1:38.22 seconds in the men’s 50–54 age-group.

Swimming for the state team, he also finished second in the 4 x 50 meters medley relay and 4 X 50
freestyle relay.
