Chamarajanagar: Beast of Burden Excels in Loyalty to Master

Daijiworld Media Network – Chamarajanagar (SP)

Chamarajanagar, Dec 22: A bullock exhibited its exemplary loyalty to the master, by carrying its master on bullock cart from a village, to his home, 16 kms away.

A person named Ramachandra used to transport things and other stocks for the people, by using his car pulled by a single bullock. Reportedly, he had left the town on Monday December 20 night, for taking goods to a village named Santemarahalli in the taluk. After unloading things, he had consumed liquor in a local shop there. It is said that he died the moment he came back and sat on his cart, because of cardiac arrest.

The bullock started pulling the cart from that village, and in spite of heavy traffic, made its way through winding roads to reach its master’s residence 16 kms away, without any problems. After reaching the home, it made a sound, alerting the family members, who were asleep. They came out and saw that the bread winner of the family was lying dead on the cart. Those who had seen Ramachandra lying on the cart that was proceeding towards Chamarajanagar had thought that he was sleeping after consuming liquor, and that he would guide the bullock once he gets up.
