Udupi: Kannada Lecturer Chandravati, Eng Prof Bhaskar Bag Hampi Varsity Doctorate

Udupi, Dec 20: Chandravati, Kannada lecturer of Rukmini Shetty Government First Grade College bagged the doctorate from Hampi University for her thesis on A study on sculptures of S L Bairappa’s novel.

The thesis was compiled under the guidance of Dr Hoskere Shivaswamy of Rashtrakavi Govind Pai Research Centre.

Chadravati had served as Kannada lecturer at Sharada College, Basroor, near here. 

Meanwhile, education expert, columnist and English professor B Bhaskar Rao has been awarded doctorate by Kannada University, hampi.

He has receive the PhD for his thesis, Language, women's status and communal harmony in Karnataka's education system' submitted through Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai Research Centre. He dis his PhD under the guidance of Dr mahabaleshwar Rao of Dr TMA Pai College of Education. Bhaskar is the retired lecturer of Manipal Pre-university College and also has rendered his service in foreign universities.
