Mangalore: Anganwadi Workers Demand Unbiased Investigation into Priyanka’s Murder

Mangalore, Dec 20: Dakshina Kannada district Anganwadi Workers and Assistants’ Union has strongly condemned the recent horrendous murder of 3-year-old child Priyanka in the name of black magic.

The union has urged police officers to investigate the case without any bias and demanded capital punishment to the culprits. Union president Jayalaxmi B R said that in case the union finds any bias in enquiry into the matter, and if the victims get bail, the union with the help of local people will hold severe protest at the district level.

Presidents, secretaries, treasurers of anganwadi units from Mangalore, Puttur, Sullia, Beltangady and Bantwal were present. Representatives of various taluk units participated.
