Mangalore: People Throng to Witness Grandeur of Bhu-vaikunta Darshana

Mangalore, Dec 18: Lord Venkatramana's bhu-vaikunta darshana was held as part of Ekaha Bhajana Mahotsava of Sri Venkatramana Temple, Car Street in the city on Saturday December 18.

The religious event began at 4.30 am and ended at 5.30 am after Bhajana Mangalacharane. Thereafter, to mark mukkoti dwadashi beautification of Lord with flowers, teerthasnana and pete savari among others were held.

In the afternoon, maha mangarati for the lord was offered with the festivities ending with drawing of a chariot.

It was sheer beauty to witness the temple and its premises lit with sparkling diyas. It is to witness this splendour coupled with devotion that people throng the temple during the time.
