Kasargod, Dec 18: Karavali Samskritika Prathistana, a Kannada linguistic minority cultural and literary organization in Kerala state has invited application for various state and national awards to be conferred as a part of its 20 years of foundation.
To encourage the growth of Kannada literature and provide a platform for various talented people a two-day inter-state level fourth Kannada Sammelana and Kerala Karnataka Utsava will be held at Kasargod Lalithakala sadana on January 29 and 30.
Achievers in the field of art, science, education, law, technology, sports, medicine, folk arts, rural development, agriculture, journalism, film, commerce, social service and so on will be honoured by the organization.
The achievers can apply for several awards to be given by the organization which include Karavali Samskritika Prathistana literary award, Rashtrakavi Manjeshwara Govinda Pai national award, Rashtrakavi Manjeshwara Govinda Pai Poetry award, Nadoja Dr Kayyara Kinjanna Rai national award and Nadoja Dr Kayyara Kinjanna Rai Poetry award.
The details of the eligible candidates with all the required information should be sent before December 30.
