Bangalore: Nithyananda Appears Before Court, Matter Adjourned to Jan 6


Bangalore, Dec 17 (PTI): Self-styled godman Nithyananda, who is facing charges of rape and unnatural sex, today appeared before the court at Ramanagara, near here, with two of his disciples.

Nithyananda, Bhaktananada and Sachidananda had been asked by the court to appear before it after CID filed chargesheet against them on November 27.

The matter was adjourned to January six.

The self-styled godman was arrested from Himachal Pradesh in April after TV channels telecast visuals showing him in a compromising position with an actress.
