Puttur, Dec 16: In an accident involving two motor bikes on national highway 48 on Wednesday December 15, a person named Chetan (22) died on the spot. The accident occurred, when two motor bikes collided with each other at a road bend near Bedrody Neerachilume.

It is gathered that the deceased was Chetan (22), a native of Hettur in Sakleshpur taluk, Hassan district. He was employed in a private bus operator in Mangalore. After buying the bike, he was riding it towards his native village, when the accident occurred.

The other motor bike belonged to two foreign tourists. Both of them escaped without unhurt.
