Mangalore, Dec 14: Trinity Central School celebrated the mega event 'Children's Fest' with grandeur, here recently.
The entire ground witnessed the beauty of colourful balloons filled with helium as the children showcased their talent in march-past, exercises and the ribbon drill show.
Fr Chetan, the chief-guest, said that the children should be allowed to do whatsoever they like and should not be restricted in childhood for that the is the base for their development.
The children from nearly nine schools participated in the carol-singing competition. Drawing Competition was another great experience for the children held in class rooms.
The variety programme for instance ice-breaking, ring the bottle, feeding the monster, and the group dance taught by ‘step on dance group. and car race games were arranged on the occasion.
The celebration began with the prayer dance ‘Vandan vandan’ followed by the welcoming of the guests and the gathering by Fr Richie. The chief guests of the day, Fr Chetan, Fr Cyprian and Fr Freddie inaugurated the programme by hoisting the flag and bursting crackers, followed by the newly composed Trinity Anthem song.
Maggie announced the results of the competitions.The prize for the winners will be given on the annual day of the school. She also compered the programme.
