Mangalore: Carol Singers Visit Homes, Spread Divinity

Mangalore, Dec 14: Carol singers from Holy Cross Church, Kulshekhar unit of Indian Catholic Youth Movement, have undertaken a door-to-door visit of the parishioners, to spread devotion, warmth, unity and devotion.

The group of singers, which includes Santa Claus and Infant Jesus, have been visiting various homes within their jurisdiction, spreading the message of Jesus and hailing His birth, heralding the onset of Christmas season, and in preparation for the grand celebration of the Lord’s birth later this month.

The Christmas carols, which are rendered by these youngsters in melodious voices and reinforced with a sense of devotional service, have proved to be a heartening experience for the families visited by them. The families eagerly look forward to the visits by these carol singers, and accord a warm welcome to the group on their arrival at their doorsteps.

Such door-to-door visit by carol singers are also organized by other parishes.
