The inquiry has found that the charges against the official are true. The employee was under suspension since the last some months. Mangalore assistant commissioner had conducted the inquiry, and the above step was taken in tune with the inquiry report.
“This is the pinnacle of criminal act and misconduct, in which losses were inflicted on the government, bank, and poor beneficiaries. Widows, who sought succour from the government, were the ones who suffered because of this criminal act. As such, the employee concerned has been found to be eligible for severe punishment. In exercise of powers vested with the undersigned under Karnataka Civil Services (Regulation of Transfers and Appeals) Rules 1957, the employee found guilty has been dismissed from services,” the order stated.
