Kundapur, Dec 12: Incidents of stone pelting at the Hindu Samajotsava bike rally by a few miscreants snowballed into a sporadic clash when a vehicle was set on fire and a few shops attacked in retaliation.

According to reports, on Sunday December 12, some miscreants pelted stones at the bikers who were participating in the rally held to mark the Samajotsava. Around afternoon, the other group decided to pay back and set a vehicle on fire and damaged shops in the area.

However, quick police action prevented a flare up and soon the situation was brought under control. A few have been already arrested and the injured are recuperating in hospitals.
