Mangalore: MCC Office to Become People-friendly Soon - Commissioner

Mangalore, Dec 5: Commissioner K N Vijayaprakash assured that Mangalore City Corporation (MCC)will soon be converted to office with less paper work. MCC plans to introduce many a people-friendly services, he added.

 He was speaking at the Janaspandana programme held at the Town Hall here on Saturday December 4. The online services will soon be made available to provide effective services to people. The system to be put in place at the MCC has been modelled against the similar system at Nagpur, Pune and Surat, he said.

Mangalore south MLA N Yogish Bhat presided over the meet.

He hoped that the new system would ensure transparency in administration.

People putforth their grievances about the bad roads, electricity problems, bad drains and hygiene facilities in their area.Mr. Bhat assured him that due action would be initiated forthwith.
