Puttur: KSRTC Retired Employee Dies in Accident

Puttur, Nov 30: Yadav Shetty (58), retired traffic conroller of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, lost his life in an accident on Monday November 29.

Shetty, who was moving on his motor bike, lost control over the vehicle while passing through Aladapadav near here. The motor bike dived into roadside drain, and Shetty, who suffered severe head injuries, lost his life. Immediately after the accident, he was rushed to Uppinangandy government hospital, but efforts made to revive him failed. He was known for his friendly behaviour with passengers and simple way of living.

The deceased, who had obtained voluntary retirement from service, is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
