Mangalore, Nov 30: On Monday November 29, none of the places located in Karnataka coast received any rains.

Mercury has gone up, and except early mornings, the coastal climate has been hot, and winter does not seem to have set in as yet. Sunshine ruled the roost in Sullia, Puttur, Beltangady, Bantwal, Mangalore, Udupi, Karkala and Kundapur taluks.

The prediction of the meteorological department valid till Wednesday morning says that coast and a few places in southern hinterlands may receive light rains.
