Mangalore, Nov 27: A new super fast train that will ply between Ernakulam and Pune will begin its inaugural journey on Saturday November 27. This train will begin its onward journeys from Ernakulam at 5.15 am on Tuesdays and Fridays from Ernakulam. Its return journeys will begin from Pune at 18.45 on Sundays and Wednesdays.
The inaugural special train is set to be flagged off from Ernakulam railway station by minister for state for railways, E Ahamed, at 9 am today. This special train will begin its journey at 9.30 am and reach Pune at 11.20 am on Sunday.
A release from the railways said that the train will have stops at Trissur, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Talassery, Kannur, Kasargod, Mangalore Junction, Margao, Sawantwadi Road and Panvel stations.
