Kundapur, Nov 26: ‘Thujinch Swapna,’ a Konkani music CD by up and coming singer Jackson D’Souza, was released by Konkani Sahitya Academy award recipient Wilson Olivera here recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Olivera said that life without music is worthless. He urged Konkani music buffs to buy the CD of promising singer Jackson D’Souza so as to encourage the new generation of musicians to excel in their career.
Fr Alban D’Souza, Kundapur deanery vicar, said that Jackson has musical talent that deserves support from the Konkani community.
Our Lady of Rosary parish vice-president Basil D’Souza, secretary Diana D’Almeida, and animator Reshma Fernandes, Kundapur, were present on the dais.
‘Jackson Nite,’ a musical concert by the singer, was staged as part of the decennial celebration of Young Christian Students (YCS).
