Udupi: Devotees Take Holy Dip in Sitanadi

Udupi, Nov 26: Hundreds of devotees took the holy dip in Panchamikanana, a sacred rivulet on the bank of Sitanadi, a tributary of Netravati River, near Mahishamardini Temple, Nilavar here on Friday November 26.

The idol of the deity was carried in a procession and offered special puja by the devotees after the cleansing ritual. 

Temple trustee B Suprasad Shetty, temple administrator M P Puradaswamy and trustees also joined in the celebrations.
