Kasargod: Man Killed by Wasps on Daughter’s Marriage Eve

Kasargod, Nov 26: In an incident that occurred at Mogralputtur in the district, a person, who was to perform his daughter’s marriage on Thursday November 25, died after wasps attacked him the previous day.

Abdul Rehman (57) from the above village had made arrangements for the marriage of his daughter, Tahira, on Thursday. He was going to Kumble on Wednesday to buy various items required for the marriage, when a colony of wasps that had built their hive near Mogar Junction, attacked him.

Rehamn, who suffered serious injuries, was shifted to a hospital immediately. However, without responding to treatments, he succumbed to his injuries later.
