Mangalore, Nov 25: A native of Kasargod was arrested by the immigration officials at the local airport on Wednesday November 24, on charges of using a passport with fake address. He was caught on his return from Abu Dhabi through a flight.

Mohammed Mustafa, a resident of Mangalpady in Kasargod district, had used the said passport to visit Abu Dhabi. During verification on his arrival from the Gulf, the immigration officials grew suspicious, after observing the names of his parents as given in the passport and duly noting that he had furnished his address as Mandya in Karnataka.

On questioning, they found that the address as well as other details given in the passport were not genuine. He was later handed over to the policemen of Bajpe station. Investigation is on.
