Mangalore: Rain God Spares Coast of Fury

Mangalore, Nov 25: After a long gap, people living in most areas of Karnataka coast heaved a sigh of relief, as rains played truant on Wednesday November 24. A few places however, got rains.

Subrahmanya in Sullia taluk, some places in Karkala taluk and a few more places in Udupi district, were the only ones to get some rains on Wednesday. Kundapur experienced light drizzle for some time. Otherwise, sunny weather persisted since morning.

The meteorological department expects normal rainfall in several places in the coast and a few places in the hinterlands during the period till Friday morning.
