Mangalore: Light Showers in Coastal Belt of Karnataka

Mangalore, Nov 24: Several places in Karnataka coast received some rains on Tuesday November 23.

Puttur taluk received good rains for about an hour on Tuesday evening. Sullia and Bantwal taluks experienced light showers. Beltangady taluk got good rains coupled with lightning and thunder. The city, Mulky, Moodbidri and other places received light showers in the afternoon, while some rains were reported from Udupi, Kundapur and Karkala tlauks in Udupi district.

A release by the meteorological department, which is valid till Thursday morning, said that a few places in the coast and hinterlands are likely to receive some rains.
