Mangalore: Shree Devi Institute to Hold Daylong Seminar on HR Mgt on Nov 27

Mangalore, Nov 23: Shree Devi Institute of Social Work will hold a daylong seminar on new initiatives in Human Resource Management towards healthy industrial relations on November 27, 2010 in the college seminar hall.

The seminar will be inaugurated by Dr K Devaraj, SDM College of Business Management and P G Centre, Mangalore at 10.00 a.m. Dr Lena Ashok, course co-ordinator-MSW, Mangalore University will be the guest of honour. A Sadanand Shetty, chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust will preside.

The resource persons for the seminar include Dr K G Parashuram, head of the department of Social Work, SDM College, Ujire, P Suresh, deputy manager-HR, Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited and P A Jose, deputy manager -Training, MRPL.

There will be talks on Labour/Employment policy, HR SAP (System Application and Procedures) and HR approach to industrial relations. MSW students from various colleges under Mangalore University are expected to participate.
