Mangalore, Nov 17: The inter-batch volleyball tournament 'Super Spike 2010' organized by Father Muller Medical College was inaugurated here on Tuesday November 16.
The function started with a prayer song by batch 2010 which was followed by the welcome speech by Neeti of batch 2010. The dignitaries present were Fr Denis D'Sa, administrator, FMMC, Dr J P Alva, dean, FMMC, and Dr Nagesh K.R the sports advisor.
Fr D'Sa declared the tournament open. The sports secretary Abhay Wasdev delivered the vote of thanks.
The tournament started off with the boys match between batch 2010 and batch 2009 in the FMMC stadium. Batch 2010 managed to win the game by a close margin. The girls match was played between batch 2008 and the paramedics on the nursing college grounds, paramedics defeated batch 2008.
