Udupi: Little Rocks, Brahmavar Overall Runner-up at CBSE Athletic Meet

Udupi, Nov 17: The Little Rock Indian School has emerged as the second overall champions in the CBSE Class VII Athletic Meet organized by Hyderabad Public School, Hyderabad, recently.


 
In under 19 category,  Janardhan H S, Class XI stood first in 1,500 and 800 metres race, while Pavan Gaurav R, Class XI stood second in 400 mts race with Karthik M, Class XI  stood third in high jump.

In under 16 category Shishira S Shetty, Class IX stood first, second and third, respectively in 800 mtrs, 4X400 relay and 1,500 metres with Athish B Shetty, Class X bagging first in long jump and second in 4X100 and 4X400 relay and Shaik Mohammad Khazar, Class X bagging second in 100 mts, 4X100 and 4X400 relay and third in triple long jump. Glan Stalin D’Souza, Class X and Shanthanu Rathnakar, Class IX won second in 4X100 and 4X400 relay and 4X100 relay, respectively.

In under 14 category, Vedant Praveen Shetty, Class VIII won second place in 200 mts and third in long jump with Shalom Aureole Britto, Class VII also bagging third place in long jump.

Further, Janardhan H S, Pavan Gaurav R, Shaik Mohammad Khasar, Athish B Shetty, Shishira S Shetty and Vedant Praveen Shetty are selected for national level meet to be held at Kottayam, Kerala.
