Mangalore, Nov 16: At a time when bankers are compelled to increase the Casa deposits to improve their bottom line, Mangalore based Karnataka Bank Limited, has launched Casa campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, bank’s managing director P Jayarama Bhat highlighted the twin objectives of the campaign namely improving the share of Casa deposits in the total deposits thereby reducing the cost of deposits and enhance the customer base of the bank. He urged the regional heads and all the staff members to actively participate in the said drive so as to take the Casa share to 30% by March 2011.
The bank has a slew of Savings Bank products to cater various segments of the market such as KBL – anitha (exclusively for women), KBL-Kishore & KBL – Tarun (for students), KBL-Salary Privilege, KBL SB-Money Sapphire and KBL – SB Money Platinum and KBL – Sugama (No frills account). The bank also provides various types of current account facilities such as Money Pearl, Money Ruby, Money Diamond and Money Platinum to suit the needs of business community.
The campaign will be held for a period of three months in all the branches in the country.
