Beltangady, Nov 15: Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy has organized taluk-level beary students; talent contest on Tuesday November 23 in association with office of block education officer and taluk unit of Jamiat-ul-Falah at Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat Higher Primary School, Kuvettu, Sabarabail near here. 

Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy invites entries from students to take part in various competitions for instance story telling, drawing, elocution, Moilanji, mimicry, quiz and poetry.

The environment related topic will be for drawing, the use of water will be for the public speaking competitions for high school division, and environmental pollution for the  primary sections. The influence of television on studies will be the topic for debate for high school students. The topic for poetry and by-heart singing competitions will be announced on the spot.

The medium of the competition will be beary language though it is open for general students too. The students can write in Kannada script for written competitions. 

The first three winners will be awarded with cash prizes and certificates. All the participants will be presented with certificates. 

Each school can have two entries for a competition. Further, one student can participate in two competitions.

The students are expected to send in their entries to office of Jamiat- ul-Falah through their school heads, latest by Thursday November 18.
